The time has finally arrived to throw that first birthday party! One Year Studio Milestone include 2 setups of baby and can be finished off with an add-on cake smash. Cake smashes are on a plain white roll of paper and your minimal decorations can be added if desired. Cakes will need to be provided by the client due to allergy concerns. I have resources for custom cakes as well as affordable ones at our local grocery stores. I request nothing made with cinnamon, as that is your photographer’s allergy.

I recommend sessions should be booked at least 3 weeks before your little one’s birthday party if you are wanting photos back in time for printing for an event!

All studio milestone sessions can include a family and/or sibling shot or two at the beginning of a session in place of a setup but older siblings must be removed during the remainder of the session to keep your little one’s attention on me!

In-studio family sessions are wonderful for smaller families needing updated family shots, those with multiple milestones happening at once or maternity sessions. We will have time for posed and unposed shots of the family together with different variations as well as individual shots of each child if desired.

My approach to family photography has always been about authenticity. You’ll find I am able to get great smiles by balancing posed and unposed shots within a session. We will equally sit and smile as we do laugh and play. My goal is to have children enjoy their photography session. Bring a favorite book or blanket.
